Please note the dates, although we were the last of the ten week companies the official dates were listed as seven weeks. The Standard Transfer Order I have shows I had 14 days leave and 2 days travel time to report to my next command on 10 September 1972. That puts me at RTC on the 25th of August. I enlisted on the 21st of June which leaves 8 days unaccounted for prior to the commencement date at RTC. I am presently trying to verify the actual dates I attended RTC.

The fellas pictured above with me were my closes shipmates while at boot camp and I have tried to locate them without any success. Michael Taylor and I went to Philadelphia and San Diego for Hull Maintenance School and I heard Richard Gibbons was a boatswain mate aboard the Midway but I never was able to reach him. If anyone knows these men I would appreciate information on how to contact them. Please
